Getting to the point now where I kinda hope that all these topics about the same issue will at least spur Squenix into actually giving us some kind of update about the bug, though I'll probably get the same copy-and-paste response as everyone else.

Still don't have the Destrier Beret after two weeks etc. etc., I'm sure you all know the score by now.

They do and you do and we do. Why the hell are people still posting this? Normally I couldn't care less, but sadly there's no option to filter these useless threads. All you do is spam the forums. Please stop.

Because we bought something and want what we paid for? I mean if you went and bought a car and they gave you everything but the car's radio you would still want the radio right? The dealership says they just have to fix it but after a month and posting that they have fixed all the radios but you still dont have yours and they dont comment on it other then saying "were looking into it" you wouldn't try to contact them and let them know your displeasure? Basicly what you seem to be saying is well you have the car dont worry about the radio the car runs fine without it. But we paid for the radio shouldnt we get it?

Yes, but annoying the entire playerbase with pointless threads about it for absolutely no reason is not helping. Yelling at the clerk who already filed a complaint with the manager won't make the process go any faster. You're just annoying every other customer in the shop. No matter how much you scream it won't make them deal with it any faster. You don't honestly believe every one of these complaints are getting translated? I assure you there is only one complaint filed with the development team, no matter how many more threads you spawn. None of this will get through to them. These threads only affect other players, no one else. And not in a good way.

You don't have to read the posts Arcon, and Enochi and Lucid are completely right. We SHOULD be redeemed for not receiving our product or refunded if they are unable to. Period. If SE was truly looking into customer service, which all of their customer service contacts are completely lacking in this situation they would shift this problem to a higher priority with the larger volume of complaints. The fact that "other customers" have not had this problem should give them the benefit of not having to worry about anything until SE screws something up that they want.

That's like farting in an elevator and telling everyone else "You don't have to smell this!" and it's just as stupid. The posts are there. When I click on "New posts" half the posts I see are related to the Destrier Beret. And I'm not exaggerating, sometimes it was even the majority of the new posts. That most certainly qualifies as spam.

Duh. I am not disagreeing with you. You don't have to tell me any of this. I'm saying this useless spam won't help you. What do you think will happen if you post this over and over? I already told you, the development team won't even read any of this. All you're doing is annoying everyone around you.

Acron in this case though it is doing as suggested by support. People are having issues with something, support says make a post about it so people are and will till the issue is fixed. regardless of how annoyed people on the forum get with it.

First of all, this invalidates absolutely nothing I said. It doesn't matter who suggests it, it is absolutely pointless. And it's starting to get kinda disturbing how no one wants to disagree with that but instead just keeps giving other reasons for why they're doing it.

Secondly, reporting an error is suggested by support, not spamming it over and over again. Once is a report. Two is only a report if you have additional information, which does not apply here.

Also, you're not reporting errors at all. You're saying "sumfin bwoke". Reporting an error would mean typing up everything it says here (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/69-Welcome-to-Forum-In-Game-Bugs%21?p=84&viewfull=1#post84) before they even consider filing the report. The mods even got tired of suggesting that, which should give you a hint as to what they do with any further "reports" like these.

I forgot my internet connection speed and ISP must have something to do with SE's reward code system not working. How moronic of me, I apologise.

All they need in this situation is your account name as it isn't a fault with the game mechanics, it's a fault with their reward distribution system. Character name and perhaps world are the ONLY pieces of information relevant to this issue.

I agree with what you're saying about them probably not taking notice of half these threads and yeah, they probably are annoying for people not experiencing the issue, but that's kinda the entire point. People -want- them to take notice. If you didn't get something you paid for on Amazon, for example, would you send in a complaint and then wait for a refund that never comes even after they tell you that a refund has been issued? Or would you badger them until they got their act together and sorted out the problem?

Though if you're not experiencing any bugs there's no real reason for you to be on the game bugs section of the forum anyway. I can't imagine it's a section of the forum particularly bustling with conversation.

I completely agree. Doesn't change the fact that they won't even look at it without providing all of that information. And here (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/20541-Exenterator-s-effect-duration-does-not-vary-with-TP.)'s why.

Aside from the difference that with Amazon I could actually do something about it, I wouldn't spam them daily. Monthly even would be enough, to make sure they didn't forget about it. (Same applies here by the way.) And if you're that unhappy with it, sue them.

I never entered the bug forum in my life. I click on "New threads" and it shows me the new threads, including these.
