I read a while back in one of the development post about the Destrier Beret registration keys use being changed. I Can't find this post anywhere. From my understanding it was a change to how this code was used. The post sounded like it allowed multiple characters to use a (code/the same code) on the same account but, each character needed to register separately.

As I said I can't find this post and would hope that it's possible to use the same code on other characters on that account. I assume this is what caused the unable to claim Destrier Berets issue the forums have been spammed with. For the record I think this change was made within the last few updates.

I'd like a link/rep response before someone says it's not possible. If anyone has this link or would like to explain it I'm sure a lot of thankful players would be happy to know.:p

[Update Details]

- The method for receiving items from the Festive Moogle have changed.

Old Method:
Registering a reward code will add 8 pieces of the item tied to that code into the option list. The player will then be able to select and receive them arbitrarily.

New Method:
One item per reward code will be added into the option list in the order the codes are registered. The player can receive the items they have redeemed one at a time by talking to the Festive Moogle. They must speak to the Festive Moogle again in order to receive subsequent items they have redeemed.

This is what I was looking for, sadly it wasn't what I remembered.

First let me apologize for the amount of time it has taken us to post a more comprehensive acknowledgement of the Destrier Beret redemption problem that players are running into.

I wanted to take a moment to refer everyone to the recently posted announcement and to assure you we are working to solve this problem as quickly as possible.

there ya go :). Looked through the dev tracker to find it . This is only recent post I remember .

This is not what I'm looking for.. Thank you for replying.

Please reread the post I want to see the post that explained the bold text from my original post enhancement to the game. The issue you mentioned was an obvious side effect of this change but not what I was looked for.

I want to know more about the change and how we use the codes on multiple characters. As I stated in the OP, there was a post about the codes allowing multiple characters to receive the item, possibly on the same code. I can't find this post from a community rep.

The only change I know of is how you interact with the moogle to get the item. You still register the code (and pick the ONE character that it goes to), the same way as always.

I saw this post in one of the update notices somewhere that wasn't clear. It seemed to be different then this. Either I misunderstood the new process or it blew past the community entirely. I still haven't seen a link to it since then. It was a Pre-update.
