I'd like to leave the old AF where it is. If anything a +3 version of AF3 that has a higher proc rate on all the special little bonuses they give us.

I still use AF+1 and Relic on THF, PLD and PUP occasionally just because there are bonuses to some abilities not on the Empyrean Armor. Empyrean armor tends to boost the newer abilities while the other 2 boost the older ones. What I would like to see is +2 versions of AF and Relic armor that give set bonuses or maybe use Trial of the Magians to boost them for their levels. I never was all that motivated to equip the full sets of AF or Relic (Do Assassin's Culottes need to be on full time really? I think not), but adding a set bonus to them might give us a reason to do so.

My relic armor set is what I wear most of the time; honestly it's a little better than most give it credit for, and it took me so long to get that I'm not giving it up just yet. I'm working on empyrean, but until most of it's at least +1 it's not even as good as relic.

I keep my artifact set around too; it's good for a change of pace.

For (once in a blue or green moon) DD situations I just use the... What's it called again? That white chainmail-looking hauberk thing everyone wears when not wearing the pink doublet or blue robe.

I'd love a reason to cast nukes in BLM relic hat. Love the way it looks, but it's a completely pointless piece now. (already kinda was to begin with)

A: We fully understand the fondness that adventurers develop for their painstakingly procured equipment, and intend to make such items augmentable via synergy. While the results will vary based on equipment level, upgraded gear can be expected to rise to a strength roughly equivalent to that of +1 Empyrean Armor, or +2 in the event of a high quality yield. Successfully augmented items will always boast improved stats, which can be overwritten or removed as desired. It will not be possible, however, to alter specific attributes only.

To allow for greater accessibility, minimum requirements will be set relatively low for the new recipes. Synergy skill only will be needed, meaning the entire process can be handled solo. I thank you for saying this lol. I've been confused about that too. So now I'm assuming AF1 = AF 50-60, AF2 = Relic from Dynamis and AF3 = Empyrean. That's just my speculation though. Back in the old days AF1 was considered your shitty AF weapon.

I have to agree i still see a lot of ninja's still using the af body piece or the Loki's, and have seen some ninja who still don the full relic armor even in abyssea parties.
