Yurim and Elemental Gorgets

When I go to make A Thunder Gorget with the NPC Yurim she doesn't actually take the Purple Chip and Gorget to start the quest.

Trading any combination of the gorget, chip, or corresponding organs (1 Yovra, 5 Hpempe, 10 Xzomit) doesn't work (e.g. gorget and chip, gorget chip and all organs, all organs)

Additionally, trading an apple pie to get additional "hints" doesn't work either. Yurim will not actually accept the pie.

Did you talk to her first to log it? Or was it already logged for something else?

The order I took for mine was: talked to her, traded chip and gorget to lock in the item, then traded the organs.
