Hey guys,
Just got back over the week-end.
I was wondering, what's the best ways to skill-up post Level 75 skill points for elemental and enfeebling magic?
Not sure without my gear on but I was at around 295-300~ with my gear on for elemental magic, and for enfeebling, I only remember capping it when I was 75.

Cast on worms, stand away from them, Silence them then bombs away.
I suggest Abyssea for the Refresh ATMA.

I don't have any atmas. I just moved to Ragnarok with a bunch of friends that were starting over on there. I'll have to look at my options for atmas.

Look into Minikin Monstrosity, it's the best for mages that require Refresh.

If you're rank 10 in windurst you just need to speak to the atma fabricant in 1 of the first 3 abyssea zones (tahronghi, la theine or konschat) and you can get a 5mp refresh atma for just a few cruor.

doing toau halvung mercenary mission rock crusher. you run up and cast low powered elemental spells on rocks to get skillups for elemental magic. besieged offers some good chances to skillup from spell spam
abby dom ops partys always happy for some azure lights and blm kills. (skillups in xp party maybe very slow) even with good level ups.
camping jeuno for partys going anywhere for a nm fight.. can be entertaining. (just grab any pickup party going anywhere for whatever seals and moghouse junk), mostly proc'ing mobs so pay attention to leaders calls for spells and deliver the !! procs..
by doing procs for groups.. you gain atmas and when you gain atmas you gain power, friends, skillups from these are kinda slow but by fighting the bigger nm's with ghetto partys you gain experience dealing with situations with less then ideal party. *if you can beat the mob with 3 strangers.. beating it with 6 ls mates should be a walk in the park.

Spam burn choke shock bio bio II para, slow, bind any chance you can on any NM higher level than your trying to skill. Worms work too.

Not to mention aspir aspir II drain and stun. OP didn't mention dark magic, but it's a given that it's lower too.

Since it hasn't been mentioned, sub White Mage or Red Mage and cast Dia. It's fast, costs virtually nothing, has a short recast time, and can't be resisted unless an ability renders the target completely immune to magical spells. It's not entirely necessary, but it can be useful if you are trying to increase the skill in a situation where every other enfeeble would be consistently resisted.

Join a seal party, spam proc spells, profit and skillup.

The thread is over a month old, not sure what the necrobump was for. But as was said before. Worms are the best choice, by far. Abyssea - Uleguerand with a Refresh Atma, nothing else compares.

Good luck with that when silence don't stick, they link, and crumble the ground under their feet, worms closer to the skill level your currently at are best..... Stay outta aby until 200+ if you value your time. If you have others that are the enmity focus, sure have a blast on 90 levels above your skill level, but solo, stick to,things closer to what you would have fought at any given skill level.

I never use Silence to begin with and they don't link. Are we talking about the same ones? Not La Theine worms but Uleguerand worms. 2x Regen Atma and 1x Refresh Atma. All of them are very easy to get.
And you can skill up from 0 with no issues at all. It will go a lot faster than anything else. You'll get 0.5 skill up on pretty much every cast you do.

Na they don't link, but agro sound, POP in goofy clusters, and skill lacking, atma lacking people trying to skill off of them are asking for it... Guess I came off a little rightous there, it'll work , but isn't a good idea unless you felt comfortable around a lot of mobs you can't kill on accout of a lack of skill, and if caught with your pants down will rip you to shreds, yes it'll be fine if you play it safe, but if new to aby, and trying to skill, it may seem a bit nuttzo ..... @260 ish, and an atma or two, no sweat, but without them two you'll be there a while, stones , or friends t.e. permitting. 0-260 on mobs that will resist often will take a bit longer than a few hrs.... Saltinas..... Go go,go skill to food. It'll work, but is not by a long shot the quickest.

Dia and Bio can't be resisted. You can cast from 20' away, you should never even be near their aggro range. It's true that it's harder without Atma, but if you don't have them you can always get them. Not like a fully skilled BLM is required for any of it. Priorities.

It'll work.... For the guy coming back who was near cap, or the brave and incredibly careful, but the genuine new guy, who burnt his Blm in am aby burn is going to say wtf..... (Dia, bio enfeb, and dark), he'll be better suited following mobs worms or whatever at 99 that he would have fought at a comparable level to his current magic skill.... Returning, meh... He'll be alright....new or god awfully underskilled they're going to have trouble, apples and oranges.... But I'm thinking of the little guys if there are anymore just starting out, or back after a few years.... In any case.... My bad on the necro bump. Just a lil stagnant on the blm bboards. makes me saddddddd.

Dia and bio can be resisted.
Not in any situation where it is relevant to skilling up. The only way Dia can be resisted is by a blanket immunity. It's safe to say that something that can render themselves completely immune to magic is not the best option for skilling up magic on.
