Cannot recieve Destrier Beret
Date & Time: July 8, 2012
Character Name: Aller
Race: Hume
World: Asura
Main Job: Red Mage
Support Job: None
Area and Coordinates: Port Bastok
NPC Name: Festive Moogle

Steps:
1. Started a new account and created a new character.
2. Logged out and registered the Destrier Beret code from Steam to my account for said character.
3. Logged back in and the Festive Moogle reports "Nothing for you".

Would be nice to know that we will all be, at least, issued the hat. I have seen many posts related to this issue. Please could a Moderator let us know what the plan is?

Good luck getting anything substantial for an update. Lots of people are having the same problem, including me. So far, SquareEnix is essentially ignoring us. It's ridiculous that this is still a problem.
