For the past 2 hours I have been trying to log onto my ps2 to play final fantasy. I connect, my username and password goes through. It gets to the Authenticating DNA's part and then sits there for a minute then shows an error messege which is:
Error code:POL-1556 (Network Error -500
Network is busy or there are connection problems. Please try again later, verify cables etc are properly configured.

I've checked all my connections. I even tried a 2nd ps2 with an old account on it and it had the same problem, connecting after it says "Authenticating DNA's data." I have shouted and yelled in town for any ps2 users to speak up or give me some kind of clue as to what is going on but have not gotten 1 reply. WHATS GOING ON!?!? Xbox and PC users are on yet I can not find any ps2 users.

Is there a problem with ps2's during the startup process with playonline?

Help!

Maybe fixed now, i just logged in on my PS2 with no problems. Though there is mention of a problem with PS2 and playonline in the Server maintenance area.
