I finished the Lv85 version back at the end of January, and I have to ask...
Am I the only one still having repeat nightmares about farming Sobek? ;_;
It's a great weapon though. yummy yummy. If you don't have one, get one XD

Nightmares about farming Sobek? No, they are replaced with Apedemak.

I'm dreading getting my last 23 skins, always at least 2 other groups there. The issue really isn't Sobek though, it's Gukumatz. I can get 5 people KI sets from Minax and Sirrush in like 30-40min tops, then you have to spend an hr or more trying to get claims on Guk. A TON of people seem to be botting it from everything I can see. GUk is the one giving me nightmares lol.

While on this thread, (I am still working on mine) I wouldn't mind your opinion. I will do tests myself when the time comes to it however for gear regarding Blade: Hi :-
Soil Gorget vs. Arctier's torque
I know elemental gorgets are said to increase the damage of single hits especially, however would the +6 AGI (Blade: Hi having only an AGI modifier) be better?
The set I am starting to gather while my static are doing other things gives me around +82 AGI not including the added AGI from weapons. (Probably eva Sekka & Kannagi, depending on the situation). I was basically wondering what modifier numbers you guys are hitting, and from experience with Blade: Hi, have you noticed if modifiers > attk/crit hit etc?
(Not sure if we are allowed to post links here but: http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/201904 for my set)
Would love to hear your opinions.

I would think the iga neck would be best since it has increase in crit hit dmg on it. and Blade: Hi is crit hit

Comparing the gains between torque and gorget isn't too bad, I'll math it out for you so you can see what to do in the future. Let's assume you have 80 base AGI, and you said you had +82 in gear (assuming this is without the neck slot). I'll math for inside Abyssea because, frankly, it's a lot easier.
Blade: Hi is a 1-hit (2 with the offhand) 4.0 fTP WS with a 60% AGI WSC. Kannagi 85 is a D:52 weapon. Looking at +40 AGI from Cruor buffs, +50 from Gnarled Horn, +82 in gear without neck, and 80 base, you'd have 252 AGI in WS.
(252 * 0.6)(.85) = 128 WSC. Add that to Kannagi's base 52 Damage and you get D: 180 for WS.
Increasing your fTP from 5.0 (this is 4.0 + 1.0 from the offhand hit) to 5.1 is a 2% increase in damage.
Increasing your WSC from 128 to ([258 * .6 = 154](.85) + 52 = 182) is a 1.11% increase in damage.
In this case, Gorget would be better than Arctier's torque. If you were to add more AGI to your build, Gorget would win by a larger margin. Conversely, if you started taking away AGI from that build, Arctier's Torque may eventually overtake Gorget. I think it's fairly safe to say that Arctier's would win outside Abyssea as well. (Edit: Assuming the Accuracy is still a non-issue)
Side Note: Kamome is probably your best in slot offhand at any time inside Abyssea. Outside, I think the line blurs a bit more between Kamome and AGI Sekka+2. I haven't done much math on it for outside, personally. Adding a Qirmiz Tathlum would also cap your Crit Dmg+ on WS with Razed Ruins, I would grab one of those when you get the chance.
Edit: Fixed to account for Alpha because I fail. The gap widens, Gorget should win by a fair margin.

Use GreatGuardian's Example above. It's realistic.
Edit: Removing my wall to be less confusing.

GreatGuardian did a more realistic example. Thanks to him. Though you're missing the .85 alpha in your WS mod calc as well as you should compare the total from the weapon base D instead of just the gain to the WS Mod.

D'oh! I knew I was missing something. And yeah, I added in the weapon base D in an edit, I fail at weekend math.
Edit: Original math should be fixed now, I think.

I tend to offhand my Enchu+2 for increased WS volume (I've solo'd Darkness NIN/dnc outside of abyssea xD) however... seeing your +82 AGI before abyssea buffs makes me cut myself for doing it wrong... I'm somewhere closer to like 50 lol

I started building that weapon, and will probably finish it for shats. But time after time I always come out with a near 2/3 split to my damage in favor of my TP phase (Non Weapon Skill damage). It seems the natural split for me. I wouldn't want to use the lower damage weapon with the higher delay to augment my # of WS's over time.
For purely building TP as in the case of /DNC. I'd say it's a fantastic tool. But for purely damage I can't find a situation where it triumphs.

Ughhhh that made my brain hurt for a few minutes.
So all in all, when it comes to the math of it, the gorget is technically better. Gotcha.
I have both of them already, and have started to get my base :Hi build together - just had that query as I have had so many friends go farm all their organs etc, finally get their gorget and not notice a single oz. of difference. That has clarified it for me however.
If your making lasagne and already have a lotttt of chili - you're not going to notice it if you put an extra one in.
If you don't have any in it, your going to notice it if you do put that one in.. Chili = Agi.

I think I laughed way too hard at this than I should have. Apt, quite apt. Love it. lol

I like the enchu specifically because if I proc the miracle attack round (Double Attack Kannagi + all 4 hits on enchu) I can blast Reverse Flourish and slam down a solo darkness... Plus... I like to Ruby light junk... it pisses people off xD

Stunner Stunner WHM BRD BRD NIN THF is the best set-up you could ask for.
2nd BRD is optional obviously as is the THF. 2 Stunners hasted and loaded up on fast cast was enough to stun everything you are supposed to. Tail tank it and get good at timing Ichi after Plague swipe. If you get breathed don't feed tp until the weakness wears. Goes down in about 5-7 minutes with this set-up. Just don't let anyone else feed it TP. No nukes and no DDs TP dumping.
