I know there is a similar post about this but it is locked and I was told by customer support to go here.
I purchased the Final Fantasy XI: Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition which says it comes with a Destrier Beret. I got the code and registered it to my Square Enix ID, linked it to my only character and content ID then went to the Festive Moogle in Port San d'Oria to receive the item. The Moogle would not give me the item so I logged completely out of the game and Play Online and still nothing. I called Customer Support and they referred me here.

ISP: Comcast/Clearwire
Type of Internet Connection: Broadband
Internet Connection Speed:13 mp/s
Date & Time: June 18th 2012
Character Name: Pudgie
Race: Tarutaru
World: Shiva
Main Job: White Mage
Support Job: Blackmage
Area and Coordinates: Port San d'Oria (J-9)
NPC Name: Festive Moogle
Steps:
1. Registered the Destrier Beret code to my square Enix account
2. Selected Pudgie@Shiva as the content ID & character that the item will go to
3. Logged into FFXI
4. Went to the moogle in Port San d'Oria (J-9) and it said " Sorry, we have nothing for you!"
5. Logged out of FFXI and PoL and waited about 10 mins~
6. Logged back in and talked to moogle
7. Moogle still said he had nothing for me.
8. Logged into my Square Enix Account and reentered the code for the Destrier Beret
9. It said the code had already been registered
Now I am stuck and out a hat that was the only reason why I wanted to pick the game up again lol.
