Solution to people who have accidentally tossed Relic/Mythic or Empyrean weapons.

To prevent further occurrences of people accidentally tossing relic/mythic/empyreans and not being able to have them restored I propose the following:

Make it so people who have lost Relic weapons by tossing them accidentally can simply go to the ??? where they obtained the completed weapon and retrieve it similar to how people can redo the Divine Might Earring quest by talking to the ??? in Ru'Aun Gardens. In this case however, the ??? will simply grant you the weapon again(once every conquest tally, so people don't abuse for some reason). For Mythic they can just target the Gravestone in Caedarva Mire and for Empyreans, just put a ??? in Ru'lude gardens near the Magian moogles.
(For Empyreans, since it's a trial weapon, no matter what level the weapon was before being tossed, have it restored as the 80 version)
This removes the middle man from the solution(GMs and Item Restore Policies)

Would need an extra step in there to flag the item to be restored, since the quest/missions have already been flagged as completed. Would need to be something along the lines of setting your title at the Bard or something--that might even be a method used to some extent. Get the base Relic/mythic, go to a BRD and set the appropriate title with the base weapon equipped, then trade the base weapon to the NPC to kick off a new restoration routine that bypasses the in-between crud and takes you to the last stage. Might have to wait for the original completion window again.

I know this would require a bit of programming to implement, but it would provide an automated process to the restoration without making it a "gimme" process. Making it so you have to farm the base weapon, run around a bit and still have to wait a while for retrieval might be enough of a deterrent for potential abuse the devs might be concerned about. They always have to maintain some hoops for us to jump through to preserve "balance".

Yeah I have heard about more than a few pissed of GF who want to get back at their BF for playing games by deleting all their hard sought after gear. Although if they were my GF they would be the one dropped soon thereafter. You dont frak with a man and his gaming.

They shouldnt just give ppl random items cause they said they lost em but they should at least reset their chars to the point just before they were dropped.

Divine Might was flagged as completed back then and people were screwed when they tossed their earrings, I'm sure they could do something for people with these weapons,.

I agree that you should be able to re-obtain any rare/ex item that takes any significant amount of work.
