View Full Version : What would you brew if you could brew outside of Abyssea?

I know NMs and monsters are a little easier outside of Abyssea nowadays since a lot of them are old, but there are some really tough NMs outside of what we know as home to still be pretty tough. Some of these NMs need an alliance and sometimes the alliance can still wipe out.
I know this may never happen and most people probably wouldn't want it to happen either, but if there was any possibility to grab a brew in any region, dungeons, etc. whether it be with 200k IS, CP, or ANs, then what NM would you pick to brew down first?

Yes, those ones sound like they'd be fun to brew. I bet PW and AV will both be popular choices to brew. ^^

umm....nothing...considering i'd rather a challenge to defeat an NM rather than "noob zerging" it...
now if i wanted to just screw around...than i'd run into a bcnm and blast em for kicks....but beyond that..no reason.

I would greatly enjoy doing the COPS airship fight if it would last long enough just for pure violent revenge.
AV.... that's all that's worth wasting a brew on outside of abyssea really (PW too if I had a job that got ANYTHING decent from him =/)

Do you ever post anything positive? You can not agree with anyone and you respond by stating what people should & shouldn't be doing/thinking. I love that you are on my server as well. hope to run into you there & see how you tell people how to play their jobs (am sure you are the type that do it)

AV is also really not hard, and not really worth a brew. PW? Maybe. From what I've heard he isn't too bad either but I don't have much personal experience with the fight itself. The drops are pretty meh these days too, so I guess it would be more for the Atma than anything. And the lulz, of course. Can't beat the lulz.

That would actually be pretty neat, and fairly profitable with his guaranteed 100 drop. Only issue is you have to kill 17 other NMs before DL pops :( (15 Kindred + Ying/Yang)
I'd use a level 1 job to solo AV.

Train 15 NMs, 15 eyes, the entire Eye wall, at least 5 dragons, and Yin/Yang all the way over to DL on a 3-minute brew? Where DL is depopped until the NMs die, and invincible until Yin/Yang die?

obviously you don't use the brew until you get everything to DL. Could be done with 6-20 thfs lined up around the zone.

When I posted I knew the NMs would be basically impossible to handle, but hey, we're talking solo-brew, not solo-align, right? Otherwise everyone posting about solo AV would be doing JoL also, and technically PW would have to be including every ZNM to get to him.
/nitpicking, not entirely serious but thought the concept'd make people laugh or think

Thinking about this, though, wouldn't that destroy the drop pool? It's flood so fast stuff would probably get lost. I don't know, I've never killed a hundred things at once.

It probably would autosort at least. That's definitely what happens during Smn burns and such. Since each NM drops an exp scroll, and there are 15 NMs, chances are any Relic that the NMs drop is going to be autosorted. Assuming DL is the last thing to die, which is likely, those drops should be fine.

It doesnt get "lost" unless you have no space, it'd just go to you, they'd be no pool if it was solo also.
I dont know what i'd go after, probably something i knew was possible that would be worthwhile. KingBehemoth idk it'd work tho. no experience with brews.

Taking down a cop because you dislike the Mayor solves nothing, ultimately. You could probably AoE down a headquarters or something, though.

Yeah, let's just say you have all the pops items or were with an alliance that killed all the NMs already and now that final NM or the one you want to brew it popped and you're the only one in an alliance with the brew while the others wait for your brew. Kinda like how people help get pops for Rani but only one or two brew him down while the others are there for procs of whatever.

I think it would be fun to go against another player who was also using brew. The biggest dissatisfaction I have with brew (after the rush of doing 60k dmg in one hit wears off) is that brew = insta-death. I'd really enjoy going up against something sentient that also had amazing powers so that there was some challenge involved. But that's probably thinking about it too much... it'd be great to brew my job lol.
