Finally, there have been some comments about making a prism-type staff that would combine all of the Magian staves. While your suggestions are of course always welcome, we would like to keep this to a separate discussion and will look into this another time.
And so here is that seperate discussion, Camate. Everyone who's interested should post their own ideas! I'll start with mine:
What if we first have trials to combine all three (or four, considering Light staves) final elemental staves into one staff with [element] affinity +6 - giving us a "traditional" set of 8 staves. From there, have a trial that combines all 8 of those staves into a single staff, simply with "Magic Affiity +6" not tied to any element imparticular (along with the cure potency from Arka IV, if desired).
It would create a single staff for specific elements if people don't care for all eight elements, as well as a Gjallarhorn-like reward (inventory space) for people that do.
It's a LOT of work for us players to think about, but this kind of reward, like the glowing auras of the longer, more tedious Lv99 Empyrean weapon trials, would be worth it for the people that actually care enough to spend time working on a staff-of-all-staves.
