ok you can cancel my problem because I talked to the person who it said i bought it from and they gave me the money back minus the price of reraise II

probably was the classic mis-cue. This kind of thing happens a LOT more than people may realize. I blame all the stupid redundant prompts when completing any transaction. You don't realize it, but you can easily slip into a sort of automated response...just spamming the directional button and all in a pattern without really making note of what is going on on the screen and before you know it, you bought a stack of crystals for 30,000 instead of 3,000. Or you buy a single water crystal for 1k in stead of a stack. IDK if it would get any better if SE removed some of the extra prompts...people will still get rushed/impatient I guess, but it still would be nice if they'd clean things up a bit in general with all the dialogues.

The amazing (not good amazing) thing is how the cursor can apparently move by itself when you bid on something on the AH - it's happened to me, causing me to buy a 200k worth item for 1.6mil - and it looks like that's what happened to the OP too. I don't know what's causing it, but it's really annoying. And yes, we all should pay attention to the prompts to make sure we're bidding on the correct item, but mistakes happen.

The trick is to not rapid-click when you're in the AH. Should always double check the log.

Last I check, it always asked me if I wanted to bid XXX Gil for an item.
