Porter Moogle Relic +2 storage slip

Ok, I checked the previous thread about this topic and saw that the +2 relics can only be stored with the porter moogle only AFTER being further augmented. My problem is this: I paid the 1k gil to buy the slip to store my +2'd relic items and now I can't do that unless I further augment these items with further Magian trials. Shouldn't SE add a 14th slip so we can store non-augmented items instead of these pieces cluttering our inventories and mog houses?
Forgive my saying it, but storage slip 13's just making SE look pants on head retarded.
