When I last played, DRG was considered almost useless. I would like to play DRG but I don't want sit around LFG longer than I need to. Anyone have any thoughts?

A great DRG is a good DD, however on hard content we are not top tier when compared to SAM / WAR / DRK / MNK. That said though the most common end game event (Voidwatch) is set up so most people want at least one DRG in their ally, and you won't be a dead weight just there for procs if geared well enough.

If you're talking about exping? It's fine really. Everyone gets invites to Abyssea parties. And DRG is a better solo'er than ever with a new tier of Healing Breath.

Early reaction to Odin-II has drg as a desirable DD. The wyvern helps split damage on the 10,000 needles move while still providing enough damage to kill.

Odin has death moves set at certain HP percentages so it's less about zerging and more about absorbing his damage/death/valkyries properly while providing "steady" damage.
