Fishing question!

Hi guys, I am redoing the mission Navigating the Unfriendly Seas for COR AF and that part where you need to fish up the hydrogauge has taken me over 4 hours when testimonials say it takes just a few tries.

I have the quest flagged and I am fishing in Nashmau so I really dont know why I have gone through 1.5 stacks of little worms and still no hydrogauge; ;

I have never successfully fished anything up after the fishing update so im guessing that is my problem...

As embarrassing as it is to ask, how do I fish? XD

Hi. You can catch it in Whitegate. In Nashmau you cant hit it I think. Try in Whitegate　pls.
By the way in JP forum it is discussed many fishing Bots in Beaucedine.
Why part of NA　and　EU do favor bot fishing?
I know its really only few part of NA and EU player.
But there are a lot of bad influences in this game.
How do many good NA and EU think about that bad players.
Pls ask to SE improvement by all of good NA and EU players.
Cause SE think better of NA and EU saying and thinking,pls stop such a bad player.
Outside Japan ( In NA and Eu or so) RMT and Bots arent regrded as bad things?
I want really to hear the way of thinking of NA and EU.

It all depends on why the people want to level the craft. If the person is doing it to enjoy another part of the game, there is almost no chance that person will use a bot; if the person wants to level the craft as a means to another end, the person and the person does not particularly enjoy that part of the game, he may be willing to use/make a program to do it for him.
So, i see cheating as a choice a player makes, and if that choice gives him an unfair advantage in competition. I send a message to the Special Task Force.
I never camped Manta, so I have never competed with a fishbot. I have not called the STF for fishbot yet.
Many years ago I GM'd a coast full of fishbotters, and also may have pulled an NM to them. ^.^

Before they nerfed it, I used Bind on a goblin next to a fishbot, and watch it's buddy link on the fishbot :D Good times. Even got a lvl 50 WHM that way. It took 30 minutes to die by the hand of a lvl 20 gob... and the WHM never stopped fishing....
