It's common knowledge that drain and aspir effects have no effect on undead mobs, this stands true for their Samba counterparts. However Haste Samba still works on Undead. No where in the description for Drain/Aspir Samba is it mentioned that it's unneffective against undead.
Not sure if this is a bug, or just an issue with the help text

Less of a bug, more of common-sense.

While i can kinda, sorta, see why you can't drain an undead (you're draining the "life" from them, i guess). It doesnt actually make sense that you can't aspir them.
It's not like they have magical undead mana or something.

According to conventional wisdom (or lore, if you will), undead have negative (or more accurately, "inverted") HP, mana, and stats. This is why any absorb-type spell is not supposed to work on undead monsters.
Of course, no one said the rules aren't bent or broken now and again....
