Why are macros after the patch when using a controller suddenly permanently up instead of hold key to maintain macro pallet?
This is extremely annoying

What? You always hit the button, then it would stay up till you hit the button again (the L2 or R2 button).

Its always disappeared when letting go of R2 or L2, now if I press R2 it appears, if I press R2 again it blinks, I have to press circle to get it to go away

Mine always stayed up until I hit it again too. Didn't notice any issues last night when I was on SMN....but that may also be because I often keep them up most the time on that job when soloing something, idk. Wonder if maybe it's a console specific issue?

The few detailed reports for PC users I've seen have been in Win7...might be something to it. I'm on XP Pro SP3, and no issues seen yet. Did some more NM hunting on SMN and NIN tonight in different zones for roughly 2 hours and didn't see any issues with macros.

Does it on Vista (64bit) also.
It's pretty annoying.

I'm on win7, no surprise the issue is with both of these then since they are mostly the same

Judging by this, and my own thread which is related only it concerns keyboard instead, I think it's safe to say they broke something for Windows (Vista and 7 at least) players with their macro update.
