よろしく!
Here's something that is not necessarily a bug as much as it is a feature, but I can't think why it would be intended, and it is annoying at least me and myself quite a bit.
Platform: Windows
ISP: Sonera
Type of Internet Connection: ADSL
Internet Connection Speed: 8/1Mbps
Date & Time: May. 16, 2012 13:37 EEST
Frequency: Always
Character Name: Dragoy
Race: HumeM
World: Fenrir
Main Job: Ninja, Lv.99
Support Job: Any
Area and Coordinates: Any
Party or Solo: Any
NPC Name: None
Monster Name: None
Steps:
Open the menu with the Chat, Magic, Abilities, Items, Trade, Treasure, and Check options. In this example, we use F1 to target ourselves and press enter.
Press and hold either Ctrl or Alt to open the Macro palette.
Additionally press n (ctrl+n or alt+n) to escape the menu.
Result: The menu does not close. Macro selected 'flashes' slightly as the selection colour disappears for a very brief moment (selection is escaped, but not the menu?).
Expected Result: Menu is closed.
If a different short-cut is used initially, it works since the macro selection is not opened afterwards. For example using ctrl+m to open the magic menu, then escaping that with n, will also enable escaping the other menu.
Otherwise the keys must be pressed within a very short period of time, if not exactly at the same time.
Surely not game-breaking, and might not affect many at all. Even I didn't realise what it was that had been annoying me a lot suddenly. That was until I noticed the recent note about the delay being reduced for the macro-palette to open up.
I think that is all for now.
Thanks ! !! !
どもありがとー
Edit:
Possibly due to the same reason it can be difficult to hide the palette when using a game-pad (a known issue).
Edit 2:
Forgot to add that it is indeed not just about the short-cut as much as it is about cancel in general (meaning ESC-key will not work either if the palette is being held open via ctrl or alt).
