I'm on Phoenix server, in Upper Jueno at the chocobo rental place. Evewry time I try to rent a bird my character locks up and I can't do anything except use the chat bar. I have to reboot every time.

It's doing it again! I'm stuck at Conrad in Bastok, unable to move. Of course, the mods there don't help me, and no one helps me here. Dammit!!!

You done a "Check Files"?

Last update messed mine up badly, the check file fixed it.

It's a PS2. I don't know how I would go about doing that.

I assume the login is the same. On the screen where it shows to login to your character/s there should be an option on the left navigation to Check FIles.

You invalidate anything you say by your shallow threats and racist banter.

To OP: do a filecheck and if that does nothing, full reinstall. Sounds like you have some corrupted files, methinks.

IT IS the ps2 that does this when the software malfunctions do to incompatibility in the conversion process. The program engine that SE uses isn't working currectly when it's converted to ps2, in some cases the added features since it was first launched are no longer capable of fitting in memory every time. The memory is restricted so much that even a single tiny memory leak in the engine can make a CS or NPC unstable.

It's a PS2.

I found the source of your problem!

All kidding aside, this doesn't seem isolated from what I've been hearing.

Responding to the topic. LOL the poster above you was deleted. You're saying it's corrupt files when everyone who uses a PS2/PS3 know this isn't the case 99% of the time.
