Hello all

When I was lvling blue mage i found it very hard to find out the spells that i can learn in my level and i spend a lot of time finding what spells i can learn in the current area.

So i started to mack a list of the spells and where i can learn them, it wasn't that easy though.

then i got the idea to develop a website to make it easyer to do that task for me and for all players!

also i want it to show only the spells i did not learned yet.

so, I have developed website and named it BLU Spell Guide to guide you learning the spells

What makes it even better that you can show the spells and thire level basted on the area you are going to and you can register and mark the spells you have already learnd so you can easly know what spells you already have

You can visit it @ http://bluspellguide.com (http://bluspellguide.com)

Feedback are very welcome .. please help me to make it even better :)

Hi iSafa, I'm Tashan

I always love when people go above and beyond to help their community and provide resources. Thank you for putting in the effort to do so.

Unfortunately, while I admire the work put into this site I do feel it is somewhat made redundant by the resources we already have.

Secondly, while I like that you can keep a record of the spells learnt, I don't feel like it's needed since you as long as you have a list of ALL of the spells it's easy to tell which you are missing.

In addition, whilst I understand why, I felt that the having to register an account to access the spell list was off putting and puts in an additional point of entry not needed.

My apologies if this sounds disheartening at all. You've clearly put in a lot of effort and thought into your work. If I'd make a recommendation, it would be to bring something new to the community that we don't already have.

Best of luck, and keep the passion alive!

Tashan

P.S - If you need any ideas, feel free to ask.

Enjoy. :)

I have used this guide (The Blue Mage Hunting Grounds - http://173.192.108.24/~tforum/blu/BLUMain.html) in the past - it is very good. So good, that I was curious what other goodies this player has put together, so I made the mistake of deleting the /blu/blumain.html from the link to get to his "main" page ... erm .. /sigh

Due to the sheer use of bandwidth, I parked the Blue Mage Hunting Grounds on a server who's owners owed me a favor, and didn't care that it often eats 30 or 40 gigs of bandwidth in a month. That's why it's where it is.

I'm glad that folks are still finding it helpful.

In case anyone didn't know, Myr is perpetually awesome like that.
