Square Enix ID?

Hi everyone!

A friend of mine wanted to return to FFXI, only to find he can't reactivate his character due to not being able to log in to the Square Enix account. He doesn't remember creating one (he left before it was 'recommended') and has no idea what the Square Enix ID could be.

Any thoughts on how to find out what his SE ID is?

If he can find/remember is old POL ID he should be able to use that to log in and register it through the Square Enix Members site.

From there, he can re-activate the account.

Tried That already but it didn't work.... I know my POL ID Pw SQEX PW but idk what the log in id is and when i try to e-mail SQEX it auto replies and says i ned to have SQEX ID in order for the to tell me the id.... I also owe a month to them and when i go into POL icon from desktop it will log me in with the sam POL Pw and ID that it asks for when it says for u to pay past due fees. when i try the same credentials it asked me for to get to that part it tells me my pw and or pol id is incorrect.. i just want my taru back ; ;

From what I've gathered, you don't really know what a Square-Enix ID is. That link will direct you to a site where you can create one, which is required now to handle your PlayOnline services. They warned and pleaded for us to link our POLIDs to our SEIDs a while back, but I'm not sure what the consequence was for defying the notion.

Or you can just call them and theyll help you through it.......if they actually answer the phone that is! >.>
