View Full Version : Bump Mapping Causes Lighting Bug in Ranguemont Pass

Platform: Windows
Frequency: Always
Area and Coordinates: Ranguemont Pass, K-5 (among others)

Steps:

In Final Fantasy XI Config, set default settings for everything, but turn bump mapping on
Walk through Ranguemont Pass
Marvel at the dark floors and lighted ceilings
Re-configure Final Fantasy XI Config to turn off bump mapping
Note that #2 above does not occur


This is independent of all other settings in Config (but tested and confirmed at default settings), and has been reproduced on both an ATI desktop adapter and an Intel integrated GPU.

Thank you for posting your concern over the lighting effects occurring in Ranguemont Pass when you enable Bump Mapping on your system. Though this would be more of a Technical Issue.
