Deleting Tetra & other unwanted files ?

Hiya all,
Can anyone tell me what files can be safely removed or are not required for me to play FFXI please ?
Can I delete Tetra Master without it having any detrimental effect on other files for example ?
I have plenty of room on my HD but noticed ever such a slight lag since when I first installed ffxi & wonder if I have loads of temp etc type files using power but doing nothing.
Your help would be much appreciated on this matter !

Normally I'd say yes, but this is SE so knowing them you can't delete it.

Yes, just delete the install folder for it. Uninstalling removes everything (POL and TM), so you have to manually delete. PS2 users do the same thing, but it;s easier to find.

The files do nothing to your computer. They aren't using power if they aren't open. Otherwise every program installed on your computer would decrease its capability. Data on the hard drive doesn't affect computer speed except for possibly spreading the data you are looking for farther out. Only data in memory (RAM) uses processing power and RAM is for open documents and programs.
