Mog Locker Access

Now that SE seems to be dishing out free storage for a while, the Mog Locker imperial bronze coins restriction is more of an annoyance than anything. I understand its purpose way back when, but when I wanna access it from certain places like Tavnazia, I may not be able to. On a lesser note, Imperial Standing is not as naturally obtained as it once was, and this could be a problem down the road. In summary, either get rid of the time restriction or let us trade bronze coins to any moogle that gives us mog locker access.

Oh, and by the way, where are the developers at with implementing access to storage from anywhere? Unfortunately, Bastok ain't the hub of the endgame world atm and I'd really like to move my HP to Jueno...

huh? IS is easy to grab. Get up to 5k from a level 8 besieged....well over 200 bronze coins for 30 minutes work (or less in some cases).

Full credit for a level 8 will net you 250 bronze coins X 5 RL days each....over 3 years of locker lease.

not to mention they let you trade multiple pieces at 1 time now, this is seriously a total non-issue.

Eh since when did they let you trade multiple pieces? I never called it an issue, just an annoyance since I've been trading one piece at a time for the last several years. Suppose that's my fault for not knowing. <_<;;

P.S. Raist I never questioned the fact that IS is easy to get with besieged, if it just so happened that one is around to participate in it. Wouldn't you rather do nothing to keep access to your locker than how it is currently? Nothing's wrong with fixing minor crap that could make the game less tedious in some aspects, like how the job ability list gets jumbled everytime you change your main or sub job.

Your complaint is that IS is not naturally obtained. I took that as "not easily" or "not readily" My point is , you don't need to go out and farm it off of pink birds anymore. They ramped up the rewards from besieged a while back--so much so that catching just ONE battle can give you enough IS to cover your locker lease for at LEAST 1250 real life days (more if you restricted your lease and you get 7 days per coin).

Alternatively, you can nab an Archaic Mirror for 1000 IS, 50 coins, for 250 days.

Otherwise, it's still 10% of your base XP from killing mobs with Sanction up if you really want to spend the time thwacking things for the reduced xp/kill (unless you go somewhere with more serious targets then just outside the city--a while back, they added some tougher mobs in other areas that go up to around level 90).

Oh, and incase you didn't know.....you don't have to trade coins one at a time, or as your lease runs out. you can trade a whole stack at once, extending your lease for a full 495 days (or 693 days if you restricted your access). That's REAL LIFE days, not game days.

Oh yeah, and you don't need IS for those coins either--you CAN buy them on the AH (typically hovering around 20k a stack on our server, regularly up to a dozen or so stacks up at once)..

yeah..I've taken to putting my least used items in storage now, stacks of elemental clusters, the BRD instruments I can't bring my self to pawn off, in case I one day decide to take BRD past 51 and I can't find them on AH anymore. Thinks like the coveted SH +1 I paid out the @$$ for aeons ago and is now only selling for like 300K and I might still need if I take another job past 51 or want to use it in a level synch for it's stats. Stupid crap that my hoarding instinct just won't let me get rid of... lol.

Perhaps, for now, if you take a thorough review of your overall inventory, you may find you can stash some items in there like that so limited access to storage has less of an impact on you if you move HP to Jueno. All depends on what you regularly use versus what is being held on to for the rare occasions, I guess.
