[Suggestion] Font Colours

As pretty much a full time white mage, I've been wondering would it really be that difficult to impement a font colour option for when peoples buffs wear off?

Every other form of text has been given a colour option and for myself personally I pretty much make full use of it i.e. debuffs red, buffs green.

I'm probably not the only person who has the hardest time noticing out of everything when buffs wear because I can't colourise it to something more poignant.

guess you could kind of do this in a round-about way with the font color system. If you colorize everything else, then you limit the white text to a short list of items, so the buff messages would stand out more.

Yeah, it could be better done, or more like more freedom allowed but it's no doubt limitations of sorts that makes it impossible for the time being...

To me it's mainly the enfeebling effects I have inflicted upon my opponents that are important to me, and I have changed the colour-scheme in a way that the white message informing me of it will stand out more than it does in default colours.

It's a good idea to improve this area amongst the interface improvements fer sure, though I have a bit more serious issues to figure out with the client crashing rather randomly after most recent update... >.<

i just wish when i was changing the colors i could actually see where the blue bar was. ive never been able to see whereit is filled up to on any system ive played ps2 360 or pc (and ive even altered tint and gamma and all that to try and fix it). i wish there was a set a number type option would be awesome to make all your characters match instead of jsut guessin.

Cool idea :) and making this happen may just be possible. There are a bunch of things that need to be confirmed, so I can't make any guarantees, but we will look into it. Establishing the rules for this system as well as testing will take quite a bit of time, but I will get back to you if there is any progress.

This idea is pretty good, but what I would like to see is a 3-tic warning for when Reraise is about to wear off, similar to sneak/invisible wearing off with the angry red color. It might be useful for other buffs as well, but Reraise most importantly... I know what you're thinking, "its not that hard to maintain Reraise!" But now with VW, Dynamis, WoE there can be alot of activity going on and the tiny "Reraise has worn off" notice in white goes by in a slew of chat spam. It's annoying to be KO by an attack or TP move and you die, and you wait 20s for Reraise box, only to realize you outlasted the Reraise duration :(

Is this going a head of the April 3rdvoid watch changes that haven't been done (or was that a late april fool's joke)? or the mog storage from jeuno?

Back on topic, does anyone know where the file is, and what it's called that saves these changes, or is it just server-side?

I remember spending ages getting my colours just right, only for them to be reset after the first maintenance. /sadface

Not really being much of a main healer I didn't bother to redo them.
