View Full Version : Salvage Armor for the Past
I was hoping to get opinions from people about what they think about Scholar and Dancer finally getting access to Salvage Armor.
Now, I know, from a role playing point of view, that Scholars and Dancers didn't exist after the crystal war. But that seems to be a moot point as Scholar and Dancer have their own mythic weapons and access to assault armor.
I just don't see why Scholar and Dancer still don't have access to these pieces. Wings of the Goddess came out in 2007, and it is now 2012. I think it's time Dance and Scholar have access to these piece that were once highly sought after, and still are to some collectors.
I'm sure Dancer would easily fit into the Skadi Cuirie Set and Scholar into Morrigan's Robe Set.
Perhaps I'm just dreaming of a day when I can wear Morrigan's as Scholar... What do you all think about this?

I definitely agree that DNC and SCH should finally get their places in the game. There are so many things that every other job besides the WotG jobs can do. For example, Pulling the Strings ENM, Abjurations, Salvage armor, Homam/Nashira set, and relics. It's been five years since the expansion, and these jobs, came out.
Personally, I'd cringe at the thought of DNC on Skadi pieces, but at least the thought would still be there. SE's done a great job of throwing these two jobs on VW/Abyssean armor, but how about the old stuff too? Especially the things that are due for a revamping, like Salvage armor. SE, can you make DNC and SCH a full part of the game now? Please?

It's not just DNC and SCH. PUP is also left out on all but salvage gear. COR has abjuration armor as well. On the other hand, BLU is pretty much on any piece of equipment that isn't non-BLU-job-specific...

They probably will add them on the new items in Neo-Salvage. That said, you have to remember DNC or SCH technically were dead jobs from the War, Players got it simply due to going to the past. The only thing that doesn't make sense is Relic weapons, since it was weapons from their time.

I pointed this out before, but as I wrote in the OP. If they were dead then why bother giving them Mythic Weapons? They're dead jobs right? So that's a moot point.
This would be a good time for them to add SCH and DNC to salvage armor because they were talking about letting it be augmented in the future. It's not much in terms of gear for them but it would show SE cares.
As for Relic weapons: This is not a thread about relic weapons for more jobs. There is already a thread for that. Please don't bring it here.
