View Full Version : Suggestion: An Improvement to New-Dynamis.

Hello FFXI peoples!

I have a quick proposal regarding Dynamis. As everyone knows, Job Ability procs are essentially the Bread and Butter of New-Dynamis. They tried to fix this in the past, but ended up not really succeeding.

With the above problem, It leads to very few camps because its smarter to target JA Proc mobs, Which is where most of the "Crowding" Comes from.

I propose the Following:

Raise Weapon Skill Proc Rate to: 50%.
Raise Magic Proc Rate to: 15% (Same as JA).

This may not fully diversify it, But with a 15% Magic Proc rate, and 50% WS Proc rate, Some groups may opt to fight on WS or Magic time. JA Will still be really good for say, Solo-ists, But WS/Magic will become increasingly useful for Duo/Trio groups.

It won't completely fix congestion in new-dynamis, But it'll relieve it in a significant way.

Short and Simple! Thoughts?

I've always thought we should bump it up around the 30% mark for SC and 50% for MB.

agree WS and magic proc need to proc more often!

I think JA should be 25%, magic 15%, and WS 40%. I think that would help things out a lot in terms of efficiently farming.

It's set the way it is because of AoE spells/WS.

then fix it so only main target can be trigered but raise proc rate

AoE Farming is a small niche, I know some people do it, and I don't want to completely shut them out... At the very least, They need to raise magic Proc about 10~15% Up. AoE or not, Its entirely too low.

Better yet a skillchain or magic burst can be 100% but only when including two or more people.
