The final chapter in the Voidwatch saga will be added.

Is it just me, or was this just post+1 for Gildrein?

It might as well have been blank, as all that we can get from this post is that there's only 1 chapter left, and we won't be getting a sneak preview.

Has anyone been able to glean any useful info from the JP forums about this?

I'm ecstatic about the finale. I haven't been this happy since the invention of mud wrestling. I cannot wait for it. Not because it's been a a thrilling experience, but because it's the end of voidwatch.

The ending of Voidwatch will be much like the ending of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Simply substitute various horrible status ailments for old age, two white exclamation points for the monolith, and a log for the glowing space-baby.

They obviously don't want to spoil the ending, they just want to let us know it's coming. What's so hard to understand?

We already knew this from the time map that they gave us last year.

Not that it's not almost screaming what it is. I see only a few options

First is a beastmen set including giddeus, ghelsba, palbough, davoi etc. T1 will be past/present stronghold T2 the lesser beastmen nations T3 Northlands with Shadowlord 3.0 as the big boss. CoP/Zilart/Nation/ToAU and most past areas are spoken for.

Option 2 a single final boss culprit of the whole invasion. (shinryu style)

Option 3 is a massing of deadly rivals shadowlord, odin, alexander, promathia all from this void world.

I can't think of any other finale unless they go back over areas. Personally I've expected northlands as finale since day one. After all in the end our true enemy is/was/shall be the shadowlord ever since the game's launch. (I'm leaving out the spoiler on purpose btw for those thinking I overlooked it) Though the boss rush with 2.0 enemies would be fun, then again I'm also still holding out for the story fight rematch feature. Anyway those are my predictions now all that's left is to see if SE is as predictable as I think they are.

I'm disappointed to hear about ToAU/CoP though I was hoping for much more. 9-12+ per climb.

So far the rewards from legion look pretty mediocre at best. There are like 2-3 "good" pieces, but most of them aren't even new models - just recycles of old level 75 gear.

I'm happy that Voidwatch will finally be over. It had a great idea but they totally screwed up with giving the NM's ridiculous moves that require you to full time fanatics / fools. They could make the event actually fun, if they severely reduce the damage / aoe "screw you" effects then remove fanatics / fools.
