IDEA: Futsuno Mitama upgrade

Another idea i have or would like to see is that the great "Futsuno Mitama" be upgraded to something formidable or even come somewhat close to relic standard like it did before level increase. There is more relic's and emp in the game than their is Futsuno's. It is a more rarity than before. FFXI has been out almost 7 year's now and we have yet to see much players to weild the sword, so it would nice to see those who are fortunate to have the sword, see some kind of drastic improvement.

I think it was a mistake to make it that strong then, /point PW weapons was useless. ( and PW version 1 was hell)

SE does make mistakes like that , makes things too weak or too strong.

The reason you don't see people use it, is because by the time people learned how to kill AV effectively, there were far better weapons to use, and still are. Besides I'd rather SE take their time to make more macc weapons.

This is all the more reason this weapon should be given another chance, AV has been SE's baby throught the year and now when we can actually kill it, and have some of getting the katana it should be supped up more to where it is still incompition with other weapons in the fast. Also people dont use it is still because it is such a rare drop that not many people get the chance to even equip the item, it is rarer than a d ring..

I don’t think it was a mistake, it was SE signature mob since COP release, it’s hard to imagine that they just toss aside a drop from a nm that has been regarded by the ffxi community to be up to par with the amano post abyssea days, and it’s NM had more nerf response when new methods of killing it has arisen that it be considered obsolete. Also keep in mind that even in the present day when we are able to kill AV, the drop rate is still considerably crappy, even crappier than a d ring.
