Learning Blu Spell issue?

I've been a BLU ever since the ToAU came out and was 75 with all spells. I quit playing the game for about 2 years and came back recently. I made it to 95 and decided to go out and get all of the remaining new spells. After I managed to get about 4-5 spells, I just stopped learning them for some reason. 2 full days spent on Sudden Lunge, another day spent each on Charged Whisker, Delta Thrust and all the Promyvion spells. Is anyone else having any issues with learning spells? I've had my issues before, but never did it take more than a dozen mobs for me to learn something. I'm literally in the hundreds on these spells and still have nothing. I've got AF hands equipped as well. I've tried 2hr, I've tried mass pulling. I've tried everything. Is there some change to the way spells are learned since I've been gone that I'm not aware of?

Here's the list of foods in accordance the current theory (http://wiki.bluegartr.com/bg/Skill_Up_Food). Some tests have shown results in line with this system, so it's a safe enough bet, but skill ups are a horrible thing to test so it might not be totally accurate.
