Idea: XP for crafting/synergy!

Players get XP/LP for every successful synthesis, 10 points, 20 if you HQ, 50 if you skill-up, and XP/LP equal to the guild points for any items turned in.

For Synergy, the Leader gets 20 per successful synth, 40 for HQ, 100 for skill-up, and the rest of the PT in Synergy range get 10, 20, and 50 respectively.

Maybe that will get people to make items again and the AH might get stocked.

tho i dont think crafters are rly looking for XP. Expecaily with it so much easier to acuire now.

the idea is so that they don't feel like they are losing so much time by doing something OTHER than being in the field. It even gives them an excuse to start clearing out their inventory.

Another idea, the bulletin board! In game, a place where a player can post a want, maybe using the AH's items list. For example, I need Tigerfangs, I scroll the list and select it, then (as with ebay) select a reserve price, the system sorts it by craft (main) AND HTH weapon. Another player-wanting to craft for income and with the skills checks the want list for bonecraft synthesis wants-or a player just wishing to sell the ones he has sees it in the HTH Weapon wants- and sees my name. He uses a message (not the tell function) to offer to synth them for $x. When I see his message, I can reply and arrange to either meet, or deposit the funds in the BB's delivery box. When the crafter deposits the Tigerfangs, the funds are transferred to him and the item deliverred to me.

For drop items the system would be similar, but you would have to scroll through the AH Categories, like Miscelaneous|Automaton to sell a drum magazine. the same message|delivery system could be used.

There could also be a Help Wanted section where you post a need. For example, "Recruiting players for Regular Assault Static, Sunday @ 3:00 pm EDT & Wednesday @ 8:00 p.m. EDT, 2/6". Sorted by Recurring or Single event, and with a seperate section for just postings (Social LS currently recruiting quality people, level 1 and up, must have sense of humor).

Last i checked they made linkshell websites and the quest/mission/item search /sea comment for this, maybe they could just make them more useful instead of making an entirely new system.

sort of, you agree to a sale 1st, then u post payment, deliver product, take receipt of payment. In the real world the payment set-up is called Escrow.
