Hello,
I have looked and looked but can't seem to find the answer.
I know that if I'm a trial account I can't invite others to a party. But, can I join a party if I'm invited by a subbed player? I'd like to party with my friends and they only have trial accounts, if needed I'll buy the game just so we can party and play together while they are on their trial period.
Thanks.

Most trial accounts are basic, and don't think you can do much outside of trying the game out. If your only playing BECAUSE the trial account might want to really read up on it on the site you bought it from. If you really want to play this game you need to buy it. Trial accounts are not like free to play mmo.
Not assuming you think it is. If its like WoW or Aion chances are you can't start or join a party under trial accounts because it is a basic... BASIC look see at the game and if you want to buy it or not. Like a free sample. You get a small taste to see if you like it or not.

Thanks for the replies. I remembered about the limits to money and levels, but I wasn't sure about the parties. The initial quote from Dragory was all I was able to find, but the link he posted is exactly what I was looking for, thanks all!!

Happy you was able to get that info. : )
I play ffxi on the 360 so i don't know much about the free trial. Infact i didn't know the game had a free trial till i saw ppl with free trial icon.
Which i find actually pretty cute. Most other free trials don't have any icon, or even let you communicate with people. looking at you WoW and guild wars...

downdownlm,
Yeah, the EU and US sites tend to differ quite a bit on some information at the Support Centre/Center. For example, there is a Knowledge Base Article stating the free trial is not even available for the time being...
I have been meaning to send them a request to make some things related to this clearer there, and well, update and make the info consistent at least.

It's the Shoshinsha mark (初心者マーク), a symbol that new Japanese drivers must display on their cars for one year.
I always found that a rather funny tidbit. ^^
