Full Moon came today and I stood at the Qu'Hau Spring the entire time. Not a single time did the weather become clear. Now I need to wait, what another 2 days or more for the next Full Moon so maybe I can get the Devine Might pop item? I recommend trying more frequent Clear Weather in that zone, Especially where the full moon is concerned. Maybe at least once randomly for the whole full moon cycle. Like sometimes maybe the first day, or others the last or any combination of days in between. But at least just once! Try it on the Test server first maybe?

Agree 100%. My wife wanted to change a DM earring not too long back and it took her 4 Full Moon periods of being there every night before she finally managed to get clear weather during the desired time. That's 4 seperate Full Moon periods too, not 4 consecutive days.

I Agree it is ridiculous, i think they should make some changes.

They should just make the add-on Goblin supply the items for all missions at the cost of seals.

I assume this is season related. Just like always having to wait for months 4-6 to get wind trials done in Aht Urghan areas. There will be a season where there's lots of clear weather in Ro'Mauve, you just happened to choose Monsoon season. Sometimes it's nice to keep some realism in the game, but I agree with you... sometimes it's not, and a 2 minute break in weather once per full moon would hardly be game-breaking, or completely unrealistic.

eh or they could just drop the weather requirement, having two such very specific elements intersecting at once is a PITA.

These solutions are probably best. If they lowered the rate of weather that would only serve to cause problems for Magian trials. Nala's solution would be great for first-timers and Daniel's is perfect for repeaters.

The req's are too steep, and the limited time I have to play would be better spent doing something I want to do in Vana'diel rather than sitting around waiting for a full moon that never comes.

It only storms constantly in Ro'Meave for ~4 months of the Vanadiel year (4-8). Here's an idea, if it's a full moon, use the weather checker NPC in Jeuno (which allows you to see the weather forecast for Zi'Tah), and don't go if it's forecasting storms?

I did thunder golems in Zitah, and it was the wrong season, and sat for DAYS with clear weather.

It's not an unreasonable requirement. You just need to go at the right time. A Vanadiel month is 1 day, 5 hoursish. So over a 20 day (Real life time) period, 5 days will be stormy in Ro'meave and ~15 days will have mostly clear weather and occasional storms.

Use this tool to find full moon outside of the monsoon season, and stop blindly wasting your time.

We should also make DM fight itself so that you just automatically get the earring that you want, right?

Try to mitigate it as much as you want, but that's all there is to it.

Nah, I'm fine walking to the meeting point with Yve'noile to claim my reward after the battle. I see nothing wrong with that or the way the battle itself works. It's just the Ro'Maeve part that needs a change.

Thanks for the feedback! The development team mentioned that they will look into this :)

Just remove the requirement for clear weather from this. I just spent 5 hours waiting for the weather to clear along with 8 other players. In that entire time, there was no clear weather for even 1 second, let alone clear weather during the hours of 0:00 to 3:00. I need to now wait another week (I waited a week for this full moon) for the next full moon to fall within a time slot where I can play. Is this really necessary?

There was a suggestion posted on the Alla forums that was quite good. Add a "Zilartian" weather device behind each moon gate that forces clear weather for 5 minutes when simultaneously triggered.

Thanks for supplying that. I've been suffering ever since FFxi clock stopped working on Firefox.
