I don't know if it's just me or maybe I haven't figured out how but when I do a job emote I can't seem to hide the message. Is there any way to hide it? I have tried "/jobemote "job" motion" but it still shows the message like "/jobemote pup motion" followed by "Playername heats up."
We should be able to hide that message like any other emotes don't you think? Maybe it's a bug...fix please! Anyone would be kind to enlighten me if there's a way to do so? If there already is then I apologize.

translation: it's not a bug. for some clearly insane reason it's designed so you can't "motion" it.

They did mention when those were being installed that "motion" would not work...

Does anyone know if the "original" emotes couldn't be "/job motion"d? I ask because I was one of those players who didn't learn until much later that you could only use the motions, nevermind do things such as target people with them by typing their names after the action, ahaha.
Maybe this is something they'll simply implement later (or so we can hope)?

the /motion thing doesn't work. However, if other people are annoying you with /jobemote whm on EVERY damn cure, then go to your chat filters: there's a filter specifically for job emotes, and it will let regular emotes come through just as normal.
I haven't tested whether it stops the emote from appearing on your screen, however. Guess that's something to put on my 'to-do' list when servers are back up.

please put motion on these emotes, what is the point of these emotes if everyone blocks them from the spam?
I should made this thread my self when I did the old spell lock issue, forgot about it

Oh I know about the filters, but not everyone will be kind enough to filter their chat just because someone spams the crap out of the screen with their job emotes. Job emotes are awesome and addictive (specially SMN emote lol) so why would you want to hinder your fun?

They probably couldn't put the motion things to the new job emote because it would probably make the Ps2 implode.

Well that's just silly, ANYTHING makes the ps2 explode these days...wtf?! I don't think it's a ps2 matter anyway...

Well its just adding more data to the updated files which is more memory, just like adding new things to the Auto Translate function. Its all memory and the PS2 cannot handle much more of it.

They got to work something out because people are gonna keep spamming those emotes and others will end up getting pissed and it's just going to be a vicious cycle so this needs to be fixed.
