I don't know if there is already a post for this or not, I know I've seen some brief mention of Magian Trials in the Job discussions. I personally would like to see weapon trials so that all weapon choices for jobs are covered, for example dagger on RDM, polearm for SAM and WAR etc. For those they could just add the jobs to existing trials, excluding the Empyreon weapons.
I also would like to see proper armor trials which would offer a lot of options, I'm just going to focus on main paths here.
Enhanced Defense, All Damage Reduction then break down to Physical/Magical, Haste, Specific Job Skills, Job Ability Enhancement.
This would allow players to not only do more, but try out different things as well. This time though, no seals, or anything like that. I would say gather crafting materials, and have to undertake specific actions related to the augment, such as for enhanced defense or physical damage reduction get items crafted through smithing, goldsmithing, bonecrafting, or leathercraft. Then have to survive x amount of hits for x amount of damage. For skill augments or job ability boosts use the related skills/job ability x amount of times. Its just a basic idea that I wanted to put out there.

Id like to see them either up the cure potency cap. Or add cure spellcast down to surya's staff. im capped with 4 pieces on my whm and god it sucks with so mch more whm cure potency gear...

I would like to see all dyna gear in the magian trials.
I'd like to see individual names for the final Magian Staves.
If I want Vayu's Staff +2 for MACC+1 MAB+5, MACC+5 MAB+1 and Avatar Perpeptuation -5, I should be abllowed to. New names for their final stages would be very nice.
Last time I complained was when all the level 75 staves were named Teiwaz and you could only use one element at a time. At least they gave every element a unique name. I'd like to see the final final stages all have their own names as well.

Agreeing with Rambus on these, well, except bows for SAM might be a bit broken; they would invariably just end up being used for STR boost. Also staves should have BLU/COR added to them. And don't argue BLU/COR have no staff skill; neither does RDM.

If you're referring to whether or not it is possible to possess more than one of them at the same time, you can- they're ex, not rare.
As for macroing, that isn't as big of a problem as you might think. How often will you need a -Perp staff on BLM or a +Potency staff on SMN? As for the MACC staves, the only one that seems relevant (although I might very well be missing something) is Earth ACC, which you would really only want for BRD.
When you're not using a staff of the same name, just put it in your satchel or sack (or MH).

i would like to see trials for armor sets and AF as well, they are getting obsolette, so if we could augment 'em with magian trials they could come into life again and being useful again ^^

I'd like them to do what they said about a year ago when it came to staves.
"we are trying to find a way for players not ot bring around 8 staves because they're so over powered" (paraphrased)
atm if i wanted to cover all bases with staves for blm rdm whm brd etc id have to carry upwards from 14...
i wouldn't mind a way to some what balance that lol the staves that id need both i would never upgrade simply because id have to do two...

Why would you want a club on BLU?
If our club selection didn't totally suck it might actually be situationally useful, aside from just blue/red procing.

This idea always brings about the "omg game balance!" card, but then again so did the "what if they ever broke lvl 75 cap?" idea people would toss around back when they thought it'd never happen.
PLD/NIN/WAR would certainly be a step toward making PLD a viable job again, but then (random DD)/NIN/WAR would also get a big tanking boost.
Main thing is in the days of MNK/NIN + WHM duoing most of what's worth doing, it'd become MNK/NIN/WAR + WHM/RDM/SCH and just be that much easier.
Maybe if lvl 91-99 content gets designed for it...

The whole Magian Trial concept was actually quite brillaint, and I don't think enough players understand just how intelligent of a game design feature this really was. It enables the designers to add new expansions and add ons while retaining the usefulness of the older content players worked so hard to obtain. I can't stress enough what a great design idea this was, and what ever SE developer came up with it deserves a promotion and a raise.
I'd like to see new Trials added for just about every single piece of older equipment that was harder than usual to obtain. I'd love to see one for the COP rings for example. One to bump it up a few notches. The Zilart earrings. I'd like to see one for a lot of the older NM drops and Sky drops players worked so hard for. I woudn't mind seeing some trials for the add on rewards either. Basically i'd like to see magian trials added for just about every piece of equipment players had to show a lot of effort to obtain from the past, ensuring their past efforts were not wasted and outdated by the addition of new expansions and gear sets.

I want them to actually be relevant to testing my skill level and not just a test of just how much I hate myself. I'd also like AF and Relic upgrades because damn relic's shade of purple is sexy on the Wyrmal Set.

MF'ING BOW FOR SAM!!! -_- They tried to limit what jobs can use too much, there needs to be a larger spread of what jobs can use can use.
That aside, I think the difference between that you can dual wield and what is two-handed needs to be fixed. I mean 2x 9str, 20atk vs. a single 9str, 24atk?

You can already upgrade Dynamis Gear... You spend enough time in Port Jeuno, you've probably heard of somebody named Sagheera. She's not very popular because an abundant amount of the +1 gear you get from her is pretty much underwhelming. There are a few pieces which once upon a time were worth it, but you can find much easier to obtain gear now.
Unfortunately, the problem with Artifact+1 gear is the time you needed to wait to re-enter Limbus and the terrible drop rate for synth items on top of that. The amount of Ancient Beast Coins you needed would add up to quite a bit if you did not participate in Limbus frequently.
Similar circumstances with Relic+1, the downtime you had to re-enter any Dreamland Dynamis was shared with entering any Dynamis along with the drop rate of Relic-1. Not only that but you also needed a handful of ancient currency, sometimes these could be quite expensive.
I personally see Empyrean+1 & +2 as upgraded gear, obviously most notably by the +1 & +2 status. If it were TRULY augmented gear, there would be many variations of the exact same versions of gear with different stats. For example, Kilas, Shareeravadis, Shamshirs and even other so popular gear like Ebon, Ebur and Furia sets. How could I forget the infamous augmented Fields of Valor gear such as Weskits?

Weapons Skills u can customize for ur own unique style, and magic spells. Armor u can make glow while using a ws and put in sound files like Cereberus's roar u can put in while weaponskilling lol. That's far fetched i know haha.

I want to see more jobs added to different weapon types as a BST i want to Magian trial a scythe i mean i can use a scythe. or let RDM do Dagger take off those restrictions.

cool rambus leanrs how to use the muliquote button, anyways club skill for blu is 3rd highest grade, tied with war
PLD>WHM>BLU=WAR> others
we have all ws but hexa strike but our weapon selection is horrable and im left with procing in a warp club
flash nova is a great ws to brew in so i want real clubs.

add a section to magians that let you combine weapons of same name. all those staves then become the beloved rainbow/prism staff with no ill effect on opposite element. or say a dagger with 9STR, DEX, AGI and 20att, acc, eva. some way of being able to have more then one stat on a weapon
