Recently when we asked for more Imperial Army I.D. Tags in a given period we were told they exist to stopper congestion in a given zone.


While we definitely understand your request for more Assault tags, increasing the amount of tags you can have at your disposal is not such an easy thing to do. The main reason is because of the congestion it will create in instanced areas once the revamps to Nyzul and Salvage take place. Apologies for any inconveniences.

This was completely understandable, but the amount we get is quite low however.

So I think despite congestion worries, a more sensible solution would be to increase the amount of tags we get. But SE has painstakingly tried to balance acquisition rates of gear from a particular area around how often someone can do that area. And obviously increasing the amount of times you can do a particular event, such as Nyzul Isle, would negatively impact the drop rates of certain equipment, which would be worse then having more tags by far.

However I think I have the suggestion that will create balance between having more tags and helping to fight congestion. Obviously this won't make everyone completely happy, but I believe this would be a better solution then doing nothing and something SE might actually consider.

I suggest that Imperial Army I.D. Tag are made into a separate tag for each Assault area with the same rules as before in every other way. This will allow up to six times the amount of Assault to be done. It will also not penalize people who have done all of the missions since they'll have six times the extra tag as well.

I am fine with how they are, however it wouldn't hurt to increase the restock time (possibly variable by assault rank?). Should still keep the max 3 (with npc, 1 on your person), however speed up the regen time to perhaps 3 per day as opposed to 1.
