My feedback:
Thank you very much, sounds great, no complaints here, and this is something to be excited about. All of these adjustments improve the game, and not just in a minor way. There is no catch, no downside, no punishment.
Flame shield:
It is a shame that people who've beaten all 21 limit break fights don't benefit from this update. However, adjusting 21 significant fights (not, for example, random fights that no one does) all at once affects a very large percentage of the playerbase. Overall, a great choice of content to update.

Really like the 3 tries for maat on the same test.

Great update, sorely needed, and overall very welcomed. No one should be denied to reach level 99 and it should be easier than what it was before, thanks again for making this ACCESSIBLE to all and tone down the artificial challenge. Many thanks!!

I just came back from a long hiatus and was able to clear the final LB fight twice in a row without much fuss. I think this nerf was unnecessary, as I was hoping the fight would have been more of a challenge in the first place. Oh well. Good news for people who were still having issues with it, I guess?
I am digging the 3 attempts on a single testimony, though!

I think they should add another level 99 LB fight. For people who want to solo to to complete Limit Break 10. The solo fight should be more like the Maat fight. Examples:
Not all Jobs should have to kill the person. Like THF, WHM were for Maat.
The fight should be with someone that is more famous. (Even if that includes fighting Maat again)
Spending hours /shouting for 5 people to help me kill an unknown Taru doesn't make any sense, and feels more like the old FFXI ideas that SquareEnix has been (thankfully) trying to get away from.

Please make it so the god damn tail doesn't make him run around nonstop wasting all of that time.

THe issue with the running is that it pretty much forces you to use specific jobs. Or cheat it up with Alex-PD burn.
The fight from the get go was awfully designed.

Just make the last LB fight, You Vs your shadow and keep the Battle well lite so that people doing it can't find their shadow! >.>

If you had a Black Belt you'd know who the little bugger is and you'd be more than happy you got to beat the snot out of him! Or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof...
On topic though, this change doesn't bother me in the least. The whole limit break idea was ridiculous from the beginning. I realize it's tradition and thus not going away, but earning the ability to level in an RPG? I thought I earned that when I bought the game and paid the sub fee.

The slowing down of the Tarooo~ does enable even melee-fighters to land in some weapon skills more reliably, but it's still far from fun, and don't want to even imagine several characters doing it at the same time...
I'd much rather have him /dance4 and actually stay put so that the close-range fighters had the same privileges as the ranged ones do. As a quickie test, I tried as a Samurai which I have normally leveled up and a Black Mage which I haven't completely leveled up yet, and got the +1 Empyrean set for it with INT+7 rings and INT+3 earring and a the Maleficus (BLM/RDM with total of 90 +46 INT) and I did well over two times the damage as BLM, as I did with SAM in that time and I wasted quite a bunch of time on BLM cause I forgot to re-order the spell list and was too far during casting because I anticipated the time he will start coming at me to be earlier than it was, heh.
Granted, my Samurai sucks, and probably isn't really a good one to use here as an example, but as I said, just a quickie~
Also, while it didn't slap the SAM with a barrage of weapon skills right after the effect ended, it did hand over Asuran Fists (which knocked me well out without any regular hits needed) to the BLM after running from the circle to the entrance (Waughroon Shrine) so I guess Regain remains. ^^;
I really wish I could make a fun fight out of this, but I don't think I can, and will just get done with it finally and forget about it. =/
In general, good adjustments but of this fight specifically, I'm still unhappy about, and disappointed it became to be like this in the first place.
Blubb.
Edit:
Might add that as SAM I got maybe 10-15% HP off of it, can't know exactly, and as BLM maybe 25-30% if not more.
As for Stun, when I was helping some others with it, I went as Red Mage to stun it while running around but that didn't help as much as I had hoped in the end. I didn't see how well the others did get their weapon skills off on it though, but yeah~

Having some stun capabilities goes a long way to remedying this. His running around has yet to cause any real issue with us doing this fight. Granted, we usually have one or two pet jobs somewhere in the mix too, but still...even when I went on my MNK I was able to build TP and fire off a couple WS on him while he was running around (had a DRK to stun him so we could unload TP).

Last time I did it someone used a tail, it was the first time, they didn't tell anyone when they used it. The party reaction was "WTF?" Only once did we have a pet job.

I have currently tries the RDM testimony at Qulun Dome and lost the fight with Maat, 0/5 Lonestalker @ Bahumut, and the testimony page broke after the first use. When will the testimonies have the ability to be used three times?

The 3 try tests will be implemented for the late March update.

Blackcyclops,
It is currently in the Testing in Progress (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/forums/83-Testing-in-Progress) phase, so it is likely to be implemented with the next version update, if everything goes well.
Edit:
Oh I had 'Posting in Progress' so long there was actually a reply that I failed to notice. ^^;
Still, it might just as well not be implemented during this month, but it is likely indeed.
