Platform: Windows

ISP: Cox

Type of Internet Connection: Cable High-speed

Internet Connection Speed: Uncertain

Date & Time: 18th February 2012, Mid-Afternoon

Frequency: Once

Character Name: Allslove

Race: Hume F

World: Ragnarok

Main Job: DRG

Support Job: SAM

Area and Coordinates: Cannot recall

Party or Solo: Solo

NPC Name: None

Monster Name: Cannot recall

Steps: I was fighting a monster that can induce the status effect "Paralyze". I attempted to use the DRG Job Ability "Soul Jump", but was stopped by the Paralyze effect. When checking the recast, it stated [1:30] (one minute, thirty seconds), despite the recent changes to Dragoon and applicable merits.

Greetings Frapp,

Thank you for posting your concerns over the recast time of High Jump after being interrupted with Paralyze. We will be happy to submit this for you, however; before we do we'd like to ask for some additional information. You mentioned that the recast was at 1 minute 30 seconds when you checked it after being interrupted by being Paralyzed, may we ask what you expected the Recast Time to be at that point (how many merits do you have put into High Jump recast)? Also please take note of the following patch notes regarding this issue, the patch notes can be found Here. (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/20744-Feb.-14-2012-%28JST%29-Version-Update) Once we get the information, we can gladly submit this for you so the development team can investigate this for you. Thank you again.

My apologies, it would appear I was counting time incorrectly.

Please disregard this bug report.

Updated High/Soul Jump Recast = 2 minutes. 5 Merits x 4 Seconds/Merit = Total 20 second reduction --> 1:40 Recast time.
