mini spoiler if you haven't gotten past mission 2-2 in CoP, but this annoys me.
With the level cap being removed, the storyline's been slightly corrupted.
Either adjust the dialogue or reapply the cardinal Giloumet's seal on the Aqueducts for consistency's sake.
Justinius: The aqueducts that lie beneath the Tavnazian Cathedral's Sacrarium have had a power magic spell cast on them by the cardinal Mildaurion C Giloumet.
Justinius: This magic limits the strength of the monsters that roam down there, but unfortunately affects anyone else who chooses to enter.
Justinius: I do not know the extent of your skills in this world, but I can guarantee things will not be the same once you pass through that gate.

Greetings, Tetsujin!
Thank you for posting your concerns about the CoP dialogue. In order to make sure that your thread receives the proper attention, I have made sure to move it from "In-Game Bugs" to "Localization." Thanks again for your report!

Hi Tetsujin,
While this is not a Localization issue, per se (we do not typically "fix" inconsistent text like this unless the adjustments are first made in the Japanese, which in this case they have not) we will raise the matter with the devs.
Once the Japanese has been addressed, we will make the same adjustment in the English.
Thanks so much for bringing it to our attention!

It's just an NPC ignorant of the power of adventurers. That seal was not designed to handle limit-breaking dimensional travellers with god-like powers. Only foot-high barriers are capable of that!

That means the whole world to me.

Why not do the adjustment in the English first? are the Japanese better than us? you sound very much like a racist bigotSusuthamnes.
The people responsible for the English version are mainly translators, not game developers. It's not a translation error they can fix, if it's not there in the Japanese version there's nothing to translate. They cannot make stuff up on their own that'll be exclusive to us. It'll have to be adjusted in Japanese before they know what to translate.

Actually, they can make up their own stuff, but I think it's limited to food descriptions and speech patterns. Cultural stuff that's impossible to translate. An anime series called Urusei Yatsura was infamous for that.. the translators included a paper manual for each episode because it just wouldn't fit on-screen otherwise ;) FFXI translators have it slightly easier.. slightly..

It's also more of a chain of command thing. San Diego is not the developers that takes place in japan. San Diego just localizes
