First, let me ask SE a question:
Dear SE, do you have any plans to increase players' ability to acquire alexandrite? We want to know.
I think a lot of people were hoping that nyzul 2 would make alexandrite easier to acquire, thus enabling the pursuit of mythics in much the same way as dynamis updates has enabled the pursuit of relics.
This certainly did not happen. Since players must now use tags to do nyzul2 instead of for assault points, which is required for salvage tags, nyzul2 could be said to have virtually zero impact on alexandrite. Instead, players can simply choose to do nyzul2 instead of salvage and so far it seems like nyzul2 is a significantly inferior alternative. Sure, the overall amount of alexandrite being produced will increase, but I can confidently predict it will not be enough to impact alexandrite sale price. So mythic still requires a 300million gil investment as just 1 of many steps. Maybe this is how its supposed to be, but either way I sure hope SE can communicate their plans better.
And then about all those other mythic steps... SE did you make token rewards from nyzul 2 so poor on purpose? And as far as revamping einherjar so that people do it again, i can't wait to see if the development plans here will be as catastrophic as the new nyzul event...
