Mouse Movement Broken

I noticed this a while back on the test-server, but didn't have the time to report it, and I figured it would be known and to be fixed before the update, but alas, it's now live...

Date & Time: February 13, 2012 (Present on the test-server earlier already.)

Main Job: Red Mage, Samurai, Ninja
Support Job: White Mage, Black Mage, Warrior, Dancer
Area and Coordinates: Jeuno, Castle Oztroja
Party or Solo: Solo/Party
NPC Name: None
Monster Name: None
Steps: Try to move a character by using the mouse, in any circumstances.

Press, and hold down the left mouse-button somewhere on the screen where there are no menus.
Move the mouse.
Nothing will happen. However the left-click does seem to work otherwise; you can select a target or menu items, but it does not seem to recognise the act of holding down (except for sliding the slider for the inventory for example).

Also having this same problem, although I don't really use mouse movement so it doesn't particularly affect me. Still, I'll post a bug report too despite the extra information on this particular bug being incredibly useless.

I'd try it in other areas but I'm skilling up Staff using pages right now. I'd bet gil it happens in other areas as well... again the extra information is useless, but whatever.

Currently I am the only one in my linkshell with this problem.

So it is kind of wierd.

I wonder if it has something to do with the Logitech G9 laser mouse???

Yup. Having the same issue. :( Glad it's not just me, though. Hope they fix this soon...I always used the mouse to move around. Number pad movement just feels awkward to me.

Extra information is never useless for bug reports, as long as it's relevant. ^^
They can not take your info into consideration though, unless you post your own report completely.

I use a Logitech MX518.

You're saying you know players who are able to use a mouse to move with the Windows client?
Could you perhaps ask a little bit of details from them on what Operating System, and mouse they use?

It isn't relevant. I also don't think the Logitech thing is relevant either. I have one however so I had a friend without one test. He also experienced the same "issue" as me.

i have the same issue, i use a sony vaio mouse, never had an issue till update went live today, now... im peeved, gonna have to dig out my gamepad till its fixed!

Just wanted to say I have the same problem as well, and I only use my mouse for navigation. I hope this gets fixed, I hate using the keyboard to move around.
