Back in the "good old days" when SE was trying to give the game max longevity, I guess it had some point to force people to wait day after day to complete some quests.
Nowadays it is just plain annoying.
A good example is the quests for the SAM AF (lvl 50 gear) has no less than FOUR wait until JPN mighnight before progressing. BLU is just as bad.
When getting a level a day was good going, this did not matter, however in the time it takes to actually complete the quests most people have trained far beyond the level at which that gear is useful and will just store them away and never use them, so probably just won't bother.
I have never seen much point in making you wait days on end to complete quests, half the time when you find out a wait is needed, you go off to do something else and *never* come back. There is so much content in game now that spreading it out is just not required.
