I think he's referring to how when you're looking at the view from the rear it comes up the opposite result of the view from the front. Which makes sense, but can cause a lot of confusion if you're actually trying to use the coin toss to make a decision...

Thread Title:
corsair job emote does not show the same result to everyone

Platform:
i'm using the ps2 version on a ps3

ISP:
hawaiian telcom

Type of Internet Connection:
dsl

Internet Connection Speed:
unknown

Date & Time:
it's a recurring issue

Frequency:
always

Character Name:
spamtastic

Race:
galka

World:
valefor

Main Job:
dark knight but it happens on every job

Support Job:
black mage but again, it happens on every sub job

Area and Coordinates:
first time i noticed it was in lower jeuno, then on an airship from port jeuno to bastok, then confirmed with a party in the dunes

Party or Solo:
i was able to replicate the issue both solo and in a party with 6 other players. did not attempt in an alliance

NPC Name:
none

Monster Name:
none

Steps:
1. in front of a group of player characters type: /jobemote cor
2. press enter
3. some players will see moogle side of coin while others will see the mandragora side of the coin.

i noticed this happened regardless of whether players were standing in back or front. confirmed because my wife and i play with our televisions side by side. flipping the coin several times from the same view point, sometimes we would both see the same result and other times we would see different results from the same coin toss.

example: first time we both saw the mandragora side of the coin. the second coin toss, i saw the moogle side of the coin while she saw the mandragora side of the coin.

Greetings, Spamtastic!
Thank you for filling out the form in regards to your concern about the Corsair /jobemote. It does seem odd that the results appear different from player to player, so I will make sure that the development team receives your report. They will make sure to thoroughly inspect the matter, based on the details that you provided. Any information regarding the results may be posted on this thread or on www.PlayOnline.com, so I recommend consulting both, just in case. Thanks again for your report!
