Going around my server is a story that they are taking the TH away from pets. I have seen nothing on this forum or am I missing something? Was reported from another forum which is usually on the ball.

Anything the reduces the amount of BSTs in dynamis is fine by me. The post is apparently in japanese and hasn't yet been translated into english yet. Expect the official english post later today. Some people are saying its only a downgrade though and not a complete nerf. Time will tell.

Because THF didn't get invites to every event outside Voidwatch.

Reality is that good THFs get invites and bad THFs are TH mooks. Good or bad, BST gets sidelined at most events and has never been in demand till this recent Dynamis rework where it only excels because mobs are EP/DC. Scale BST up to any tough mobs and the job falls apart with no backup plans like BLU or PUP.

Instead of fixing higher levels of TH (THF and RNG territory), they nerf the job already a one-trick pony. Brilliant.

Swing and a miss slugger! I have both BST and THF 99 which i play regularly, and Enjoy. I solo on BST in Dynamis commonly, and go THF when i hit it up with friends.

I'm on both sides of the fence.

That said, Nerfs suck, all of them. Its almost insulting they expect us to believe nothing has changes as far as leadership/direction goes with the Dev team/Company, When its basically a complete 180 at this point, Nerfs as far as the eye can see.

Pet TH gear doesn't sound terribly detrimental. Whack a mob with it on, then take it off, just like a THF would.

Overall, I can understand a possible motivation behind the change to curb Dynamis congestion, but I still say single-target WS and Magic proc rates need to be improved to cut down on people fighting over the same mobs in a given zone.

Pet stats gears typically requires the pieces to be wore at the time of the JA for JA triggered stats such as Reward Bonus pieces. Not really sure how PET: TH triggers. My fear is that it'll have to be full timed for the effect to be in place or there's no point for SE to do this other than it's another inventory -1 pieces and one that every BST just has to carry around with them. Also, would that TH also be applied to all other pet jugs? Think SE will just open a hugh can of worm if they're looking down that route.

The real question for SE is WHY NERF BST AGAIN? Is it not enough that Beastmaster is now Jugmaster? Is it because all these ppl are complainting that there are too many BST/DNC solo'ing dynamis and causing too many currency to be in the market?
