I deposited 47/50 Carabose Gems 6 months ago for my Empy GS, but now that I've returned to the game, (And would rather use the gems for an Armageddon), is it possible to remove them from the magian trial crate? If so, how? I haven't been able to. If not, oh well, guess I'll just finish it and get a Cald...

No. Finish your GSword and then do the gun.

If you're not completely sure about completing a trial, then you shouldn't have traded the items in the first place. They stack, so it's not like it would be sucking up tons of inventory space.

Deal with it.

I was sure about the trial before I quit for 6 months. But thanks for the condescending attitude :)

I really hate when people say stuff like that, but yeah. These are item collection quests, not "Kill <insert monster name here> 100 times" quests. There is really no reason to even start the trial until you have collected all the items to complete it.

Yeah, I know. Its just that it was a long time ago when I deposited them lol I was just asking is all ^^ I'm fine with getting the GS first.

Just another question, if I abandon the trial with the moogle, the items aren't returned are they? They're just lost?

I'm not sure if anyone's ever tried it, but I believe they're lost.

They might not even have been stackable 6 months ago, who knows.

Could have mailed them to a mule as well.

He's asking a perfectly reasonable (if unrealistic considering we're talking about SE here) question. Just answer it or ignore it. He gave you NO reason to be a condescending jerk about it. I just don't get people who play a social game and go out of their way be anti-social about it.

To the OP, it might be cool to have the GS and you only need 2 more NMs to finish it. I know some people who love the thing. I now it sucks to have to start over on the one you really want, but at least it is just Carabosse and not that godforsaken Chloris... stupid pink weed... gray hairs... I'm getting gray hairs because of you... and a nervous tick... and bags under my eyes... damn you Chloris... burn in plantoid hell! BURN!!!!

Oh yeah, but um... it could be worse... I think that's what I was trying to say... Good luck!

I'm not sure either, but it should be rather easy to test.

Just start any Armour trial and trade some seals, then cancel it?
Or try it on the test-server?

It would seem rather silly to lose the items, but on the other hand, if I had to guess without looking into it myself, I'd say they will be lost.

To be concluded I guess.

All progress on any trial is basically "gone for good" when you cancel a trial. The moogle directly mentions this.

So yeah, the items are lost if you cancel a trial with active progress made.

If you bothered to read the post, you'd know when he was working on it, they didn't stack.

Thanks for all the answers guys ^^;

And yeah, it was a pain in the @$$ carrying 47 of those things around with me before they stacked! haha. And you're right, at least it is an easy NM trial. I've done Chloris for Verethragna and phewwww! lol

Anyways, thanks again. Better safe than sorry with trying to cancel it. I'll be happy with my GS while I start on my gun :)

By finishing it now, you'll have both of them that much sooner. Why exactly do you want to switch though? You're so close to being finished you may as well just finish it and then get the other one even if you could take them out.

Everybody hate me a little more, thanks. I'm not "going out of my way to be anti-social." These are the same as relics and mythics. You shouldn't start if you're not going to commit to it. That's all I'm trying to say.

BTW, yes, you will lose your items if you cancel the trial, no doubt about it.

I think what people are saying is you came off with an assholish tone with your post.

Well, since the introduction of Resolution, Torcleaver damage is equal (if not less). And there have been tests for better Greatswords, which I would use if I didn't finish my Cald and just did Armageddon.

Don't need more bandwagon COR's. Finish GSWD.

Bandwagon CORs? lol

Why say that like you know me? My COR was my third 75 job back in 08 and is now one of the only 4 jobs I focus on.

But thanks for that >.>
