Seriously SE, you going to try to keep silencing us? Is that how to run a business and how to treat your customers?

I know they're under no obligation to do so, but responsible forum moderation would provide a reason why a thread/post was moved or removed...but I guess that would give an indication that the thread existed in the first place even if the content was no longer visible.
The folks at SE just seem to keep digging the company's proverbial grave deeper and deeper all the time. If it isn't the game content itself it's how they react to feedback on the content. If their overall sales and MMO subs keep on dropping, they have no one to blame but the men in the mirror.

Maybe they deleted it because there are already a dozen threads about it.
Please note "dissatisfying you personally" is not equal to "digging their own grave".
And I don't think I've ever seen a moderated forum where deleted threads were then given a public reason why they were deleted. All that would lead to is more protests and anger in the explanation thread.
And there's no silencing. The Community Reps have repeatedly responded to inquiries and I believe have even lowered the required number of items. Although this fell short of some folks' wishes to change the requirement to straight up NM kills, it's still a compromise and shows that SE was listening. Problem is that you still have players with a massive sense of entitlement who think that because they are the customers, they get what they want, unconditionally, no matter what. Fact is that it's like complaining about the price of gas or the economy. It's been talked to death, the powers that be know that people are displeased, and further complaining will have diminishing returns.
I can't say I blame them. I know that if I were running a company, and I opened a forum to receive feedback from my customers, and I had a public relations team communicating with them, but the customers became increasingly rude and abusive hoping to browbeat me into submission, I'd cut them off too.

They usually would simply close such threads (and explain that "please use the other thread").
That being said, I don't think I saw the thread in question so I can't really speculate any more than on a general level, and yeah, it is very unlikely for them to give any reason for specific threads they might delete, other than: "See the Forum Guidelines. :]"

The thread in question was created (not by me btw) shortly after the large thread that contains 600+ responses regarding the R/M/E 99 trial thread was nuked last night (EST time). And it was the ONLY thread that ask what happend to the 600+ thread so there's no other thread to 'post to'.
I personally couldn't careless regarding how the R/M/E 99 trial would have become but the way it was just nuked just does not sit well especially the fact that you have over 600+ response on there already (with Camata making comments and annoncements in there multiple times on top).

Not really.

So I'm the only one dissatisfied? I sure must own a lot of characters on a lot of different servers. I must also be an excellent writer as to be able to write each character's posts with a completely different personality.

I have.

Yeah so you should totally cut off all the feedback for the actions of a few customers. Way to be unprofessional there.

Hello Folks,
We remove threads, at times, when they are redundent or do not follow the rules and policies. Threads asking where a thread went too are off topic. While we normally will place a post explaining why the thread was closed, we do not need to always do so; sometimes the contents of threads are too far off topic to salvage, we are sorry if this has caused some concern.
Thank you for your understanding and I will be closing this thread at this time.
