Level Sync Eating FoV buffs.

I just restarted after 2+yrs and recently learned about FoV (been back for two weeks, found out a week ago). Awesome idea. Like the extra exp it gives. Love getting buffs. My only problem is Level Sync eating the buffs. I probably wouldn't even have found it a problem except for two reasons:

1 - My parties seem to continuely break level cap and then resync, which eats my the buffs i just bought a 10minutes before. (yer, i know.. get better pties.. but to be expected of dunes parties)

2 - Since I'm fresh back I don't have the tags to keep getting my buffs. (I know farm more, I am just currently more focused on getting my 9+ 75 jobs to 90 and those pties are all in abyssea these days)

I know its not a glitch. I know its intentional. Don't want a player running around with a high level buff at a low level.

It would just be nice, if buffs you pay for at an FoV wouldn't wear with level sync. Just an idea. And its not gonna hurt my feelings either way. ^^

Level Sync eats FoV buffs because FoV buffs scale with level. If you get Protect at 90, you're getting Protect 4 or 5. If you get Protect at 7, you're getting Protect 1. That's why they have them wear off when you level sync.

Could make Fov buffs work like WotG signet somehow maybe?

Thanks for the input. Didn't know that part. Still a bit annoying for it to wear off when u got the buff while level sync'd then it wears off b/c party temporarily dropped the Sync then Resync'd to the same level.

Would be too much encoding to specify specific spells. So I won't even continue trying to push the idea. I can live with a minor annoyance.

Where do you suggest I farm FoV tags, preferably on a lvl 90 job (i lean more towards mage jobs, but do have a 78 DNC i plan to get to 90)?

The most bang for my buck is Cape Terrigan. Easy access. Decent return tabswise for page 1, and plenty of targets. Nice spread of levels there also. 68-90.

This is really annoying, especially because we have to spend pricey tabs on this.
