Problem with skillchain point on the Dagger of Trial

I started the "Clock and Dagger" quest for unlocking Evisceration.
I did 330 ws points at Abyssea - Grauberg on the Glen Crab by doing Ligth skillchain (i was nin) with a thf -> using Mandalic Stap + Exenterator = Light , when i reach 300+ ws points the latent effect was no present.
I warped me at Jeuno -> Boat for Khazam -> Khazam -> Shutdown because was very late.
Today i logged in and went to Jakoh Wahcondalo and trade her the Dagger of Trial, and was not complete he said to me "You're far from being done, tiger.Etc" than I check the dagger by equipping and the latent effect was not break.

It's possibly related to closing the skillchain with Extenterator.

I thought the announcement about some meritted weapon skills messing with weaponskill-point stuff also stated the issue was fixed, though?

wouldn't surprise me if that was the problem. also they fix alot of thing only to have them break later. I doubt any know how many times the Headstone in Behemoth's Domain has broke.

Just do it over again with a different WS, even if you can't do a lvl 3, just do lvl 2s. yes it sucks but they not going to say they were wrong and just give you the completed dagger.
