Please expand the block list so that you can't even see threads or posts made by the blocked person at all.

This way users can block people they perceive as trolls and not ever be tempted to respond to them because they can see that a post or thread was made by that person. Even though the content is hidden, the temptation to respond is still there because you know they posted.

Everyone here knows exactly why I'm posting this. Certain user(s) are testing our patience and making it more difficult to follow the threads in general discussion. If we could just filter that crap out, they can post all their stupid nonsense in the vain hope that the staff will read and respond to it, when what their posting, if they care about it, would be best posted in another section, and we can carry on and find our discussions without the constant annoyance and distraction that such posters bring with them.

Thank you for your time,

The Viewers of General Discussion

I second that proposal. I've been drawn in by some of these posts myself only to /slap myself after posting and seeing who started the threads.

By the way, while I fully agree I should have the willpower to abstain from reacting to or posting in such threads, it would be a lot simpler if I didn't have to know they existed at all.

Or, you know, the mods can actually moderate the forums and deal with a VERY disruptive troll and his sock puppets, instead of throwing out suspensions to people that don't deserve it.
